Angina means chest pains. Interesting word!
Chest pains is the heart's way of saying that it's not getting enough oxygen. So how to prevent it?
1. Change your lifestyle. Minimise your work hours and lower your workload.
2. Stop smoking.
3. Exercise regularly. Recommendation is to exercise 30 minutes to an hour at least 3 to 5 times a week. Light exercise like a leisurely walk can also be helpful.
4. Eat right. Stay away from eggs, red meat, fried foods, lard, butter and excessive dairy products.
5. Relax.
