Its the time of the year again... and I get to eat my favourite dumplings haha.
I remember when I was young, there were only 2 festivals that my mum will try to make dumplings. One is 端午节 and the other is 冬至. However both dumplings are different sizes and ingredients. And over the year, my mum no longer makes the small dumpling (tang yuan) for 冬至.. so I can only contend myself with the big dumplings haha.
And I only like what my mum make... maybe I ate it since young haha. I always find hers better than those selling outside, even if they were XO dumplings... Mum's ones are still the best!
