Moi Eating Tactic

I wanted to drop this rambling because I was lazy to type it out actually haha.. I had scribbled the story on my table that time.. and it was about my eating tactic..

I'm super lazy to think about what to eat and will just follow the crowd. So people who know me have to decide where and what to eat and if the venue (yes it must be the PLACE) appeals to me, I will agree. As for what do we eat there, I will just accept whichever eatery the person chose (unless I just came back from Japan and am sick of Japanese food or the likes... generally I am still not that fussy.. generally.. )

So never.. never try to ask me to choose what to eat. My mum tried though.. that day.

She had bought glutinous rice and bee hoon and asked me which one I wanted. The typical answer (and the lazy way out) I give her was "Anything". Usually she will just heck care me and I will be forced to make a choice when I'm hungry. But today, she was the one that was hungry first and demanded I make up my mind... which I refused to (kill more brain cells).

So after awhile, I went to get my lunch and I realised she split both the glutinous rice and bee hoon into half. Clever mum. She avoided the tedious decision making process too. Haha.

Which reminds me of the times I was in Europe. As mentioned I usually starved my travelmate and so if my travelmate starts to feel hungry, she will then decide what to eat and I will just follow. This is a sure-proof method that will ensure none of us gets hungry because my travelmate may be fussy eater but she is definitely not a meal-skipper.

So I was telling her about my mum not liking any of the food we ate in Europe and I worry she will be hungry in Italy. And she said my mum is similar to her so I thought I will use the same tactic that I used on my travelmate. Then my travelmate said what if my mum refuse to choose then I will not get to eat.... which was like *TA-DA*.. rewind back.. based on the recent incident.. my mum might really not choose what to eat.. and I will be left hungry too.

Ok so now I not only worry my mum will go hungry in Italy.. I worry I will go hungry in Italy too.

Nevermind, I shall eat gelato everyday...

very interesting cos the scenario is similar when my family go out for dinner......

“想吃什麽?”

“隨便。”

in the end they will suggest a few dishes and ask for my opinion which I will always reply "ok" to all.

maybe becos i usually need to cook my own meals so i always feel that anything is good food as long as i dont need to cook and therefore I eat everything happily back in sydney...

Haha, it will probably be a nightmare if we go out for a meal together one day......
