Nokia has identified that in very rare cases the affected batteries could potentially experience over heating initiated by a short circuit while charging, causing the battery to dislodge. Nokia is working closely with relevant local authorities to investigate this situation.
And because the picture in the article resembles my battery, I had no choice but to open my phone to retrieve a battery that I had not seen for the past one year already. Haha.
Anyway after keying in the 26-character product identification number, my battery was declared free from this situation... Phew!
